JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Sr Contract Administrator will monitor all activities related to meeting objectives on assigned contracts, act as a liaison between different departments, and ensure clarity and compliance with contract terms.
REQUIREMENTS/SPECIFICATIONS
A. Education/Experience:
• BA/BS in Business Administration, Engineering, or Management or an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to occupation
• Minimum of four (4) years related progressive experience
B. Licenses/Certifications:
• Certification by the National Contract Management Association preferred
C. Other Requirements:
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/SCOPE OF WORK
1. Maintain a safe and healthful work environment by following established safe work practices and procedures; including following all safety rules, use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE), investigating and reporting identified safety concerns or situations.
2. Adhere to standards contained in the Company "Code of Conduct," Company EEO practices, and DOE directives.
3. Assist in management of prime contract at the West Valley Demonstration Project.
4. Perform general contract administration using the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) principles.
5. Participate in prime contract modification processes.
6. Track and maintain agreements, contract milestones, deadlines, and renewals.
7. Maintain organized records of contracts, amendments, and correspondence related to agreements.
8. Ensure fulfillment of contracted obligations from contracting parties.
9. Support formal requests for funding increases or schedule impact approvals.
10. Review relevant contract management processes and propose improvements to senior management.
11. Ensure all training and qualifications are up to date, attend educational workshops, and participate in professional societies.
