Overview:
Public Records is seeking an experienced and dedicated Maitre D' to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food and beverage, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to lead the reservations team and front-of-house operations. This individual will work closely with the events and operational teams to ensure exceptional guest experiences in all rooms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and lead the reservations process for all rooms, ensuring a seamless and efficient guest experience.
- Supervise and mentor the host department, providing guidance and training to staff.
- Coordinate closely with the events and operational teams to accommodate guest needs and requests.
- Ensure impeccable service standards, maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
- Resolve guest concerns or complaints in a calm and professional manner.
- Manage guest bookings, optimize seating arrangements, and manage waitlists effectively.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of menu offerings, food and beverage pairings, and current specials to assist guests and staff.
- Ensure that the front-of-house team operates smoothly and efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Maitre D' or in a similar leadership position within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage, including current trends and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional demeanor and exceptional customer service skills.
- Experience working closely with event coordinators and operational teams.
