Our client, a global manufacturing specialist in energy management and automation, is actively looking for a Power System Engineer to join their team in O'Fallon, MO! This role is onsite so local candidates are required.

***This is a 1 year contract with the opportunity to convert based on performance***

This Power System Engineer will be a part of the company's team that is focused on providing consultative product and solution expertise to customers around the company's electrical solutions. This Engineer will become a SME on the company's product offerings & solutions and also be responsible for presenting the power systems portfolio to customers & clients so strong communication skills are a must!

Responsibilities

• Act as the face of the company representing the power systems portfolio presenting trends and value prop to customers both in-person and virtually
• Work closely with account managers, business development teams, sales executives, and other relationship stakeholders to offer consultative input throughout the planning process
• This role will specifically focus on some of the single-phase and three-phase power solutions such as UPS systems, switchgear, and transfer switches for data centers and associated sofwae and services
• Lead initiatives around all data center three-phase power solutions used in customer facing demonstrations

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field preferred (equivalent years of professional experience acceptable too)
• ~5+ years of experience working in a Power Systems/Electrical Engineering field, data center experience highly desires
• Strong experience and ability to develop and give presentations both internally and to external customers and clients
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
