Vaco has partnered with a leading global retail company in the food and beverage industry. The hiring team is looking to hire a proven Procurement Manager to support the Marketing and Sales division. Your day to day would look like but is not limited to:

• Assessing transactions and developing deal strategies. You will work closely with business partners and internal stakeholders to understand their needs, determine the risks and design appropriate execution plans.
• Enable company growth by supporting Sales and Marketing initiatives via fit-for-purpose sourcing strategies in each category.
• Understanding the business drivers behind transactions assigned to you and developing an execution plan.
• Working within the Supply Management program, champion the sourcing process, develop strategies with defined plans for cost savings, risk assessment and mitigation, and build supplier strategy that effectively communicate both short and long-term tactics.
• Manage categories: Categories include Merchandising, Marketing Materials or Point of Sale, Consumer and Customer Data and Research, Shopper marketing, Brokers, Public Relations, and others.
• Driving transactions to completion in a timely manner.
• Collaboration and knowledge sharing with teammates and colleagues on complex negotiations
• Working closely with the larger Procurement team, and stakeholders as appropriate.
  

The Minimum Qualifications :

• Bachelor's Degree
• 4+ years of experience managing supplier engagements and/or engaging with procurement-related function
• Thorough understanding of Procurement management system
• Demonstrated category expertise in Marketing-related fields
• Acute attention to detail
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Business acumen and critical thinking
• 5+ years of experience managing supplier engagements and/or working with a variety of procurement-related functions
