Vaco has partnered with our client to hire a Procurement Manager to join their team! This position is responsible for leading sourcing activities to drive results for our clients Marketing and Sales organization.
Hybrid, immediate need
5+ years' experience needed, $55-$60/hour
Responsibilities:

• Develop strategies with defined plans for cost savings, risk assessment and mitigation
• Build supplier strategy that effectively communicate both short and long-term tactics.
• Lead the development and execution of negotiation strategies with suppliers, including specific targets for pricing, service, and quality.
• Manage supplier selection process and ensure supplier selections are based on sound selection criteria.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in related field required, advanced degree preferred
• 5 plus years in Procurement Management with a demonstrated record of achievement and advancement.? Professional certification preferred
• Thorough understanding of Procurement management systems
• Demonstrated category expertise in Marketing-related fields
• Experience working on the Agency Account and/or Business Development side
