Michigan Broadband Services (MBS) is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead network operations and drive operational excellence for our fast-growing, fiber-based telecommunications company. The COO will have primary responsibility for Engineering, IT, Customer Service, and Field Operations, with strategic alignment across other business units.

Key Responsibilities:

•          Direct and coordinate all network operations.

•          Lead Engineering, IT, Customer Service and Field Operations teams with a focus on

efficiency and service delivery.

•          Implement initiatives to account for rapid growth in the network that will result

from $100 million+ in capital investments and acquisitions over the next 5-years.

•          Set and communicate objectives and goals; establish processes and procedures.

•          Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership teams to support business growth and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

           •          10+ years of progressive experience in telecommunications operations

leadership.

           •          Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).

           •          Strong financial acumen and project management experience.

           •          Proven leadership in unionized environments and process integration

following acquisitions.

           •          Strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

           •          Demonstrated integrity, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
