Job Summary
Provide diagnostic, therapeutic and surgical services to the patients of the Charleston Area Medical Center, Inc and its affiliates per the terms of the contract.
Responsibilities
• To provide care to CAMC patients in the field of Urology in compliance with the highest standards of medical art and science, and within the ethical standards of conduct. Such care shall be delivered in the appropriate setting and coordinated with the staff present at each site. The physician will take the lead in all patient care issues and will be ultimately responsible for the outcome of the encounter. • With regard to issues of clinical practice the physician with will report to the departmental medical director/ medical affairs structure of CAMC Hospital • Administratively and operationally, the physician will report to the President or designee and the Physician Administrator or designee. The Physician will collaborate with assigned clinic/departmental manager and Administration of CAMC Hospital. • Employee will maintain active status (category I) with regards to clinical privileges at CAMC • Must be able to relate appropriately with patients, staff, corporate management, medical staff and co-workers. Managed care knowledge helpful. Must remain current in medical/surgical knowledge as well as applicable legal and regulatory issues.

• Medical Degree (Required) Education: Medical Degree, MD or DO Board Certified - American Board of Urology or College or Osteopathic SurgeonsExperience: No requirement beyond residency
