Position Summary Evaluate and treat patients which are referred to the Occupational Therapist by their physician. Follow the laws of the Ohio revised code for the practice of Occupational Therapy. Properly supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and support staff in the delivery of Occupational Therapy services. This professional person will be licensed by the State of Ohio and have completed an accredited training program to meet all educational requirements
Responsibilities - Evaluate procedures.
- Set goals and treatment planning.
- Isolation techniques.
- Range of motion, mobilization, splinting therapy, pre-treatment activities, contrast baths, exercise, and ultrasound.
- Measure range of motion, electrical stimulation, moist heat packs, adaptive equipment, post-treatment activities.
Requirements - Licensed by the State of Ohio.
- Completed an accredited training program to meet all educational requirements.
- Orient to department and follow attendance, maintain patient safety, confidentiality, dress code, work schedule, and communication skills.
- Follow policies and procedures.
- Ensure personal performance reflects the mission, vision, standards of behavior and the service goals.
