Job Description:
- Provide care in a 26-bed medical-surgical unit.
- Manage a patient ratio of 6:1 with available support from unit secretaries, patient care technicians, and navigators.
- Utilize equipment such as coolers, walkers, sequential compression devices (SCDs), and continuous passive motion (CPM) machines.
- Document patient information using the Meditech system.
- Work schedule includes a requirement for four weekend shifts per schedule.
- Adhere to floating policy with rotations as needed.
- Enhance patient experience, targeting a satisfaction rating of 72% or higher.
- Perform advanced procedures, focusing on knee and hip replacements and multi-level spine surgeries.
- Follow unit guidelines and policies while wearing required navy scrubs.
- Participate in a team recognized for its achievements and awards, contributing to a positive work environment.
