We are seeking a Payroll Administrator to join the Giltner family of companies. We are a quickly growing organization and we utilize modern technology to keep a driving edge in today's economy.
Payroll Administrator Responsibilities - Handle daily payroll department operations, including collecting and verifying timekeeping information and processing payroll
- Maintain accurate payroll records including required payroll garnishments
- Reconcile bank statements
- Understanding of payroll taxes and withholdings
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Manage employee benefits
- Responds to payroll and benefit related inquiries and resolving concerns
- Ensure that employee payroll processing is compliant with Federal and State laws
- Manage salary changes, deductions, bonuses, PTO payouts
- Assist with the onboarding of new employees
- Maintain employee confidentiality and protect payroll operations by keeping all private information confidential
- Other duties as assigned by management
Payroll Administrator Qualifications - Experience with QuickBooks required
- Accounting/payroll experience is a plus
- Strong proficiency in Excel and Word
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal, and excellent people skills
- Ability to organize, multitask, and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent
