Job Title: Contract Manager

Client Overview:
Our client is a dynamic, growing company specializing in the manufacturing of innovative electrical kits used in utility-scale solar projects. Their kits are integral to linking cells, racking, and other components at the end of every row in solar farms.
The Contracts Manager will play a crucial role in managing the entire contract lifecycle, ensuring the successful delivery of their products to EPCs and developers. This position offers the opportunity to lead and innovate in a rapidly growing company, working closely with key stakeholders and driving strategic objectives. A strong onsite presence in Sacramento is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from negotiation through execution and delivery, ensuring alignment with company policies and industry standards.
- Collaborate with the VP of Sales and Marketing to align contract strategies with the company’s business goals.
- Negotiate high-value contracts, focusing on projects in the $50M+ range, while ensuring favorable terms for the company and managing risk effectively.
- Draft, review, and manage contracts with EPCs, developers, and other key industry partners.
- Implement and manage change management clauses to ensure smooth project execution.
- Lead and mentor a small team, with the opportunity to build out the contract management department as the company grows.
- Work closely with legal, finance, and project management teams to ensure successful contract execution and compliance.
- Participate in strategic planning sessions, contributing to the company's expansion into new markets.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing contracts worth $50M+, ideally in construction, manufacturing, or power sectors.
- Strong background in negotiating complex contracts, with expertise in change management clauses.
- Demonstrated leadership and management experience, with the ability to build and lead teams.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the contract lifecycle, including negotiation, execution, and delivery.
- Experience working with EPCs, developers, and manufacturing partners, preferably in renewable energy or power industries.
- Willingness to work onsite in Sacramento, CA, in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a results-driven approach.
