Job Title: Contract Manager

Location: Sacramento, CA

Client Overview:

Our client is a dynamic, growing company specializing in the manufacturing of innovative electrical kits used in utility-scale solar projects. Their kits are integral to linking cells, racking, and other components at the end of every row in solar farms.

The Contracts Manager will play a crucial role in managing the entire contract lifecycle, ensuring the successful delivery of their products to EPCs and developers. This position offers the opportunity to lead and innovate in a rapidly growing company, working closely with key stakeholders and driving strategic objectives. A strong onsite presence in Sacramento is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from negotiation through execution and delivery, ensuring alignment with company policies and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Sales and Marketing to align contract strategies with the company’s business goals.
  • Negotiate high-value contracts, focusing on projects in the $50M+ range, while ensuring favorable terms for the company and managing risk effectively.
  • Draft, review, and manage contracts with EPCs, developers, and other key industry partners.
  • Implement and manage change management clauses to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Lead and mentor a small team, with the opportunity to build out the contract management department as the company grows.
  • Work closely with legal, finance, and project management teams to ensure successful contract execution and compliance.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions, contributing to the company's expansion into new markets.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience managing contracts worth $50M+, ideally in construction, manufacturing, or power sectors.
  • Strong background in negotiating complex contracts, with expertise in change management clauses.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management experience, with the ability to build and lead teams.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the contract lifecycle, including negotiation, execution, and delivery.
  • Experience working with EPCs, developers, and manufacturing partners, preferably in renewable energy or power industries.
  • Willingness to work onsite in Sacramento, CA, in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a results-driven approach.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a rapidly expanding company in the solar energy space.
