The Sourcing Specialist will collaborate closely with assigned Sourcing Managers and product segments to manage the sourcing of assigned commodities. Key responsibilities include:

Execution of Sourcing Strategies:

• Develop and execute strategies for assigned commodities to meet business objectives.
• Focus on cost management, including Cost of Bill of Materials, Target Costing, and Should-Be Costing.
• Drive competitive advantage through supplier selection, development, and consolidation.

Supplier Performance Management:

• Oversee sourcing execution and hold accountability for purchasing, including meeting deflation targets.
• Perform cost analysis for components and manufacturing processes to ensure quality at the lowest cost.
• Monitor and improve supplier quality and delivery performance.

Collaboration with Stakeholders:

• Partner with business stakeholders to ensure sourced materials and services meet business needs.
• Drive improvements in sourcing processes, including managing issues related to delivery, quality, invoicing, and database management.

Direct Sourcing Responsibilities:

• Drive sourcing strategic initiatives for optimal cost productivity and lifecycle management.
• Build deep relationships with strategic suppliers and engage them in New Product Introduction (NPI) processes.

Indirect Sourcing Responsibilities:

• Improve business productivity by identifying cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies.
• Lead initiatives for sourcing process improvements, such as digitization, simplification, and spend controls.

Qualifications:

• Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field, or 5 years of relevant work experience in the assigned commodity.
