Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate reactor systems following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and operational manuals to ensure proper functionality.
  • Accurately measure and mix ingredients as outlined in the Batch Production Record (BPR) under general supervision.
  • Dispense raw materials for synthesis activities.
  • Monitor chemical reactions during processing, including changes in color and reaction completeness, and take appropriate actions under guidance to ensure proper progression.
  • Perform intermediate chemical processing steps using established safety and procedural guidelines.
  • Prepare solutions for purification processes and collect samples for analysis.
  • Purify crude peptides utilizing high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) under supervision.
  • Execute lyophilization and drying processes in adherence to established protocols.
  • Conduct in-process analysis of fractions via analytical HPLC and communicate results to senior personnel.
  • Report equipment-related issues promptly to supervisors or senior team members.
  • Maintain exemplary safety, housekeeping, and cleanliness standards within the workspace.
  • Assist with additional duties as required to support production operations.


Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field.

Experience: At least 1 year in a cGMP pharmaceutical or biotechnology laboratory environment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when needed.
  • Adaptability to handle shifting priorities and multitask effectively in a dynamic work environment.
  • Exceptional technical writing abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.


Salary Range: $47,000 - $65,000 annually
