Qualifications:nnEducation:nnGraduate of an accredited school of physical therapy.nnMinimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy if graduated prior to January 1, 2016.nnDoctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) required if graduated on or after January 1, 2016.nnInternational candidates must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy. A Doctorate is preferred.nnLicensure/Certification:nnMust hold or be eligible to obtain a Physical Therapist license in the state where services will be provided.nnState licensure must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment.nnCPR certification is required or must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment.nnAll certifications and licenses must be maintained according to their expiration dates.nnProfessional Membership:nnMembership in the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is preferred.nnOther Requirements:nnIf assigned to drive a company vehicle, a valid driver’s license is required.nnIf assigned to drive a personal vehicle, proof of insurance is required in addition to a valid driver’s license.nnExperience:nnWork experience is not required beyond clinical experience obtained during educational training.nnPhysical Requirements:nnMust be able to lift 50 pounds, assist with a combined lift of 100 pounds, and push up to 300 pounds.nnSkills:nnStrong verbal and written communication skills.nnFlexibility to work at other locations as assigned.
