We are a short drive to Glacier National Park, Flathead Lake, two ski resorts and an abundance of outdoor recreation!nnThis position plans and implements specific and individualized treatment programs to patients according to the principles of physical therapy.nnQualifications:nnMinimum of one (1) of the following required:nnCurrent Montana Physical Therapy license.nnGraduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program and must successfully obtain Montana Physical Therapy license within thirty (30) days of hire.nnCurrent HS AED CPR.nnExcellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.nnCommitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.nnExcellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.nnExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.nnPossess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.nnJob Specific Duties:nnDevelops, implements, and revises individualized, goal directed physical therapy through a skilled process of evaluation and ongoing assessment of each patient.nnPerforms comprehensive assessments that reflect the patient’s functional, physical, mental, emotional, psychosocial and environmental status.nnDevelops and maintains an updated, individualized plan of care that includes; goals, interventions, medications and visit frequency orders.nnDemonstrates the ability to effectively plan, communicate, supervise and delegate to provide therapy services in a competent and efficient manner.nnPerforms all patient treatment according to established physical therapy standards and department policies and procedures.nnActively involved in the rehabilitation process, completes admission, discharge evaluations, daily assessments and identifies individual goals for each patient.nnExhibits excellent customer service and communication techniques at all times to internal and external customers.nnCompletes all required documentation in a timely manner according to payer guidelines (Medicare, Private Insurance, Medicaid) and Montana practice guidelines for physical therapynnEnhances rehabilitation services by participating in projects/programs within the department, the facility and the community.nnAchieves set productivity standards per department protocol.nnThe above essential functions are representative of major duties of positions in this job classification.
