Position Overview:
Robert Half HR Solutions team is partnered with a client in the Duluth, GA area seeking a Director of Resident Affairs. The Director of Resident Affairs is responsible for fostering positive resident/ employee relations and ensuring compliance with all organizational, regulatory, and accreditation standards. This leadership role emphasizes enhancing the student/resident experience, maintaining safety, and adhering to legal and ethical guidelines. Higher education experience highly preferred, not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations/ Student conflict resolutions: Act as the primary resident liaison, addressing concerns, student conflict resolution. Develop programs to enhance resident engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, including, ADA, OSHA, Title IX, and anti-harassment policies. Maintain accurate student records and oversee compliance audits.
- Accreditation: Lead efforts to achieve and maintain accreditation standards, including preparing for surveys and implementing quality improvement plans.
- Leadership: Manage and train resident/students, collaborate with internal teams, and advocate for resident needs with leadership.
- Risk and Crisis Management: Address safety concerns, conduct risk assessments, and respond to emergencies effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required and Master’s degree in Human Resources and HR Certifications are a plus!
- Strong communication, conflict-resolution, and organizational skills.
