General Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and the Manufacturing Director, the Maintenance Electrician installs, diagnoses, and repairs machinery and systems with a specific focus on electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery, equipment and large manufacturing facilities.
Essential Job Functions
• Takes lead role in all electrical installations and ensures that all electrical work complies with national, state, and local regulations
• Designs electrical systems for all buildings and machinery as needed, installs all wiring and fixtures, conducts inspections, and troubleshoots complex electrical issues
• Installs power wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment, connects power supply wires to machines and equipment, and connects cables and wires between machines and equipment
• Diagnoses and repairs or replaces all faulty electronic components such as printed circuit boards
• Replaces faulty electrical components of machines such as relays, switches, and motors and positions sensing devices
• Replaces electric motor bearings and rewires motors
• Diagnoses and replaces faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment
• Performs preventative maintenance on all equipment to reduce down time
• Responds to all ticket requests in a timely fashion and communicates consistently with Supervisor and Director

Skills/Experience/Training Required
• Masters Electrician Certification
• High School Diploma of GED
• Ability to interpret a variety of written, visual, and oral instructions and manuals
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
• Advanced electrical system knowledge
• Proven problem-solving ability
• Proficiency in using electrical diagnostic told and the ability to interpret blueprints and technical documents
