Job Description

Our client, a satellite communication company is seeking to hire a dynamic Senior Facilities Coordinator, where you'll manage facility operations, ensuring a safe, efficient, and functional environment. Your key responsibilities will include overseeing service contracts, vendor management, budgeting, space planning, and supporting daily operations like maintenance, custodial services, and event coordination. You'll collaborate with internal teams, manage facility projects, and maintain high safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee service contracts and facility-related projects, ensuring timely completion within budget.
  • Act as the primary contact for all facility issues and participate in Emergency Response and Safety Management Teams.
  • Build cross-functional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Coordinate events, handle furniture setups, and manage contractor proposals and services.
  • Maintain standard operating procedures and respond to after-hours emergencies.
  • Manage space changes and provide project management for construction projects.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in Facilities Coordination, including operations and maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of facility regulations, safety standards, and facility management best practices.
  • Proven track record of managing facility projects and renovations from start to finish.
  • On-site presence required (5 days a week).
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects efficiently and solve problems quickly.
  • Proficiency in facility management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, or Visio preferred
