LHH is seeking a skilled Accounting Specialist to join our client's finance team. The Accounting Specialist will handle a variety of financial duties, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger upkeep, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable transactions and ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Oversee accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections.
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain precise general ledger entries.
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
- Work with internal teams to resolve financial discrepancies.
- Ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures.
- Support audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and best practices.
Qualifications: - Preferably a Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Accounting Specialist or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
