JF Restaurants at The Winthrop Center is looking for a
Culinary Receiver and Storeroom Supervisor to assist the kitchen team in acquiring and maintaining the best quality products.
This role will work closely with culinary management in placing/receiving orders, filling requisitions, and transporting goods throughout the building. The ideal candidate should a passion for food, high standards of organization and lead with hospitality.
Essential Job Functions: The culinary receiver and storeroom supervisor supports the kitchen team in ordering of all food & na beverage for the property and oversees incoming items. Evaluate supplier and inspect deliveries for product quality. This role will work directly with the culinary and beverage teams to find and maintain the highest quality product following seasonality and sustainability. ServeSafe Certificate required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving Food Product
- Receiving and storing food product according to kitchen mapping and DOH standards
- Maintenance of order guides, inventory sheets, and checklists
- Filling requisitions among the different outlets
- Having orders prepared/delivered
- Inventory Maintenance
- Notifying kitchen management team on low or overstock items
- Kitchen Maintenance
- Supporting SOP for communicating maintenance issues with culinary ops manager
- Maintains first aid kits stocked
- Maintains cleaning supplies within compliance of DOH and fully stocked
- DOH
- Supporting kitchen team in monitoring SOP for HACCP plan and all of its components (maintains cooler logs and HAACP documents)
- Supporting kitchen team in monitoring SOP for DOH related issues
- Performs daily walkthrough to identify critical violations and immediate corrective action
