Our clients established Labour & Employment practice group is now actively looking to add an energetic, motivated and client-focused Labour & Employment associate to their team of experts in their Calgary office.
Qualifications and Attributes:
- 3-7 years of post call labour and employment law experience from a reputable national, regional or boutique firm;
- Experience in advising and representing employers in all areas of employment and labour law including: implications of corporate transactions and reorganizations;
- Experience in labour arbitrations, and/or administrative tribunals would be considered an asset;
- Experience with employment contracts and executive compensation, workers’ compensation, pay equity and employment equity;
- Experience in occupational health and safety prosecutions, human rights, employment standards, privacy, terminations, layoffs and workplace investigation;
- Excellent academic credentials;
- Superior communication, drafting skills and strong attention to detail.
