Our client, a busy and well established estate planning law firm in Southwest Minneapolis, is searching for a full-time estate planning attorney to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
Perform a wide variety of functions to support the firm including (but not limited to):
- Create wills, trusts, powers of attorney, health care directives, etc. for your clients
- Discuss plans with clients for distributing their assets
- Advocate on behalf of clients by understanding their needs, effectively analyzing the situation, and forming a strategy for a plan of action
- Cultivate relationships with the firm's existing and future clients by maintaining consistent and timely communication
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school, required
- Must have an active MN law license
- Minimum of 2-5 years of estate planning experience
- Experience with dispute resolution, probate, elder law, MA benefits, special needs planning, or litigation a plus
- Highly proactive approach to professional work and relationships
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Strong emotional intelligence and excellent interpersonal skills
- Motivation to grow professionally, financially, and personally
- No portables or existing book necessary
Compensation
$100,000 base salary + bonuses
