Lindstrom Restoration is looking to hire a Repair Site Supervisor ! Lindstrom Restoration is a family-owned general contractor that specializes in insurance repair and is dedicated to improving lives. Our company has provided exceptional fire and water damage restoration services for homes and commercial buildings in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and surrounding areas for nearly 70 years.

We are seeking a Repair Site Supervisor whose hands-on carpentry expertise and leadership abilities will allow them to thrive in a fast-moving environment, overseeing project execution while mentoring crew members and coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure top-quality results.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL BE:
- Leading and supervising on-site crews to ensure projects are completed on schedule, producing hands-on work while overseeing subcontractors, team members, and job sites
- Managing project timelines and budgets, developing weekly action plans, monitoring schedules, and ensuring efficient material preparation and use, with all work completed professionally and within scope
- Providing strong leadership, mentorship, and training to crew members, guiding their professional development, ensuring they follow safety protocols, and supporting positive employee relations through regular coaching, meetings, and development reviews
- Overseeing project quality and adherence to the scope, conducting routine inspections, identifying and addressing deficiencies promptly, and ensuring compliance with standards and requirements
- Maintaining effective client relations, acting as the main on-site contact, providing regular updates, addressing client concerns, and delivering a 5-star service experience from start to finish
- Ensuring all administrative tasks are completed properly, including daily updates, progress tracking, purchase orders, change orders, and maintaining accurate, up-to-date project information in company software
- Seeing the project successfully through to the final stages, including punch list completion, Certificate of Satisfaction execution, and securing client reviews, referrals, and references
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 10+ years of experience in residential construction as a carpenter
- Strong knowledge and adherence to safety protocols and understanding of MN Residential Building Code
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, truss plans, and project scopes, relaying information effectively to crew members and subcontractors
- Experience overseeing multiple trades and project stakeholders
- Skilled in operating heavy equipment (man-baskets, lulls, skid loaders)
- Demonstrated experience completing material take-offs
- Familiarity with a wide range of construction materials (windows, siding, roofing, flooring, tile, etc.)
- Comfortable working at heights (ladders, scaffolding) and adapting to daily changes
- Impeccable attention to detail and urgency in meeting project deadlines
- Tech-savvy, proficient in learning and utilizing new technologies
- Strong team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must reside within 40 miles of Minneapolis, Minnesota
- A current, valid driver’s license is required
- Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States
- Must love dogs in the office!
The really nice to haves:
- Experience mentoring, training, or leading a team
- Previous experience as a Site Supervisor or Project Manager
- Experience with insurance restoration work and/or residential remodeling
- Familiarity with Company Cam and Smartsheet software
