Responsibilities:
- Transaction Due Diligence: Review data room files, create initial question lists, and assess risks and opportunities
- Research: Analyze industries, offering documents, and third-party reports
- Document Preparation: Draft term sheets, commitment letters, and underwriting memos with financial models
- Committee Participation: Actively contribute to internal investment meetings
- Presentations: Prepare charts and content for Offering Memorandums and Lender Presentations
- Closing Support: Assist with syndication closings, including fee sheets, funds flow, and documentation
- Portfolio Support: Handle monthly tasks like financial data analysis, compliance checks, and file organization
- Operations Coordination: Provide updates and respond to information requests
- Administrative Tasks: Meet deadlines and maintain documentation standards
Requirements:
- 2 years of Public Accounting Audit OR Mergers and Acquisitions Financial Due Diligence Necessary
- CPA is a plus
- Must be in Chicago, no relocation assistance or sponsorship available
