Connect Search is hiring an Estimator in Madison.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans, specifications, and technical documents to develop accurate estimates, assigned trade responsibilities, and subcontractor coverage, for assigned projects.
• Identify and quantify all cost factors, such as time, labor, material, equipment, subcontractor and other cost elements.
• Prepare accurate and timely estimates utilizing various computer software programs.
• Communicate and build relationships with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and design teams, to fully coordinate project expectations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• 3 or more years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of estimation of commercial buildings, BIM programs, and regional construction practices
• Ability to perform material take-offs/quantity surveys.
