Job Title: Training and Development Specialist

Location: Parma, ID 83660

Contract Duration: 12 months

Pay Rate: $30–$38/hr.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement training programs to meet operational and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) needs, fostering a motivated, high-performing, and safe workforce.
• Oversee and coordinate Responsible Care Management System (RCMS) training performance and compliance.
• Collaborate with EHS managers and site managers to develop and enhance safety and training programs that exceed regulatory requirements and EHS expectations.
• Identify learning and development needs for individuals and teams, then create and execute targeted programs, including operational, technical, organizational, and leadership training.
• Develop a robust on-the-job (OJT) training program to promote safety excellence, operational reliability, and deep knowledge of processes.
• Ensure all training related to site, process, and organizational changes is completed and recorded in compliance with Management of Change standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or at least 7 years of relevant experience.
• 3+ years of training and development experience with a Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in third-party and external auditing.
• Proven track record of success in EHS&S and OJT training program development.
