We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Credit Analyst to join our team. This role is integral to our lending process, ensuring the bank continues to make sound credit decisions that benefit our customers and the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other pertinent data to assess the creditworthiness of loan applicants.
• Prepare detailed credit memos and recommendations for loan approvals, renewals, and modifications.
• Collaborate with lenders to structure loans that meet customer needs while adhering to the bank's risk policies.
• Monitor the performance of the loan portfolio, identifying and reporting potential risks or problem credits.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of credit policies and procedures.
• Provide support in portfolio management, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Previous experience in credit analysis, lending, or a related banking role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial analysis, including cash flow analysis and ratio interpretation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely.

Preferred Experience:

• Familiarity with agricultural lending and knowledge of the unique financial needs of the agricultural sector is a plus.
