Manufacturing Process Engineer

KEY RESPONSIBILITY HIGHLIGHTS

  • Drive the specification, procurement, enhancement, retrofitting, and seamless commissioning of cutting-edge process and maintenance equipment, ensuring optimal performance and integration.
  • Evaluate critical process metrics to uncover underlying challenges, identify negative trends, and root causes, while crafting actionable solutions to present to key stakeholders.
  • Proactively address equipment safety concerns, implementing effective measures to ensure compliance, reliability, and safe operation.
  • Collaborate with contractors, equipment manufacturers, and production partners to execute maintenance, repair, and improvement projects that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and spearhead impactful improvement initiatives.



WHAT THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL (PREFERRABLY) BRING

  • Four-Year college degree preferred in an Engineering disciple such as Mechanical, Mechanical, Process, Chemical, Materials or Similar
  • 5+ years of successful experience in a support Engineering role in a similar Metals manufacturing environment
  • Strong design skills using CAD or SolidWorks
  • Knowledge of the existing manufacturing systems including the computer systems, material flow and handling schemes, quality systems and process control techniques.
  • A strong desire and passion to be predominantly shop-floor & solutions oriented
