AEROSPACE/ELECTROMECHANICAL COMPONENT MANUFACTURING

Growing manufacturing company needs someone to supervise a group of 2 direct reports while overseeing procurement operations and material planning processes. Will source goods, services, and materials, manage vendor relationships, and ensure flow of materials to production. Will develop and execute purchasing strategies, forecast demand, manage purchase orders, coordinate with suppliers, implement Lean principles and inventory systems(kanban, pull systems, JIT delivery) to optimize material flow and reduce waste. Will also negotiate contracts, delivery schedules, and terms with suppliers. Position will require 5+ years experience in purchasing, materials planning, or supply chain management with 2 years in a supervisory role.
