The Senior HR Manager will implement and manage a wide variety of Human Resource duties including; leadership development, succession planning, talent management, performance management, employee and labor relations, training, change management, and organizational design.
Responsibilities
Lead strategic labor relations initiatives and strategy
Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues/investigations
Partner with leadership and employees to improve employee engagement, retention and organizational effectiveness
Foster an environment that provides employees training and developmental opportunities
Collaborate with talent acquisition to recruit top talent for hourly and salaried positions
Ensure compliance across legal, regulatory and internal policies
Manage union negotiations and grievance processes
Support manufacturing, operations, and engineering client groups
Develop and deliver employee engagement initiatives
Education and Qualifications
Bachelor degree required
10+ years of Human Resources experience
Must have experience within in a manufacturing plant environment
Knowledge of employee and labor relations, performance management, and employee engagement
Experience with union negotiations
Ability to bring about change within a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of State Laws, Federal Laws and regulations in the areas of wage and hour laws, employment law, and workers’ compensation required.
PHR/SPHR or MBA/Advanced degree in Human Resource Management a plus
