This is completely on-site with the opportunity to partner with the production and project managers to create precise shop drawings that outline specifications for components for steel elements. Hours are 6am-4pm Monday- Friday with benefits! Interested?

What you will do as a Drafter:

• Create accurate and detailed drawings using 3D platform.
• Collaborate with the team to understand project requirements and produce precise technical drawings.
• Extract information from contract documents and governing codes, and converting into a shop drawing
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude to comprehend and contribute to designs with the openness to provide suggestions or feedback
• Review and revise drawings as necessary to ensure compliance with standards and project specifications.
• Coordinate effectively with the team to integrate mechanical elements within structural designs.

What we are looking for as a Drafter:

• A degree in drafting
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software or SDS/2
• Experience in a structural/ architectural drafting roles or background in construction
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to comprehend mechanical aspects to come up with new innovative ideas
• Excellent attention to detail and is able to collaborate within a team environment.
