A well-established mid-size Family Law firm located in Menlo Park is seeking an experienced Paralegal. The Paralegal will be exposed to diverse and challenging projects and will be working closely with a team of 6 other paralegals. This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days of onsite presence.

Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, property settlements and marital agreements.
• Draft legal forms and pleadings, compile and serve discovery, arrange court filings and process serves.
• Help attorney prepare for trials, MSCs, and hearings by creating the necessary pleadings, trial notes, and exhibit binders.
• Conduct legal research, maintain attorney calendars and stay on top of court deadlines, serve as a liaison between the client and the attorneys.

Experience

• At least 4+ years of Paralegal experience in Family Law is required.
• Experience with high-asset cases and familiarity with the local rules and courts in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties is preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) is required.
• Experience with Dropbox and programs for preparing legal forms is preferred.

The compensation range for this position is $85,000 and $105,000 per year, depending on candidate’s experience.
