Optomi, in partnership with an innovative and fast-growing software company within the manufacturing industry, is seeking an experienced Sr. Functional Business Analyst for their Dallas, TX location! This Functional Business Analyst will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and transform them into Oracle Fusion SCM solutions.

Experience of the Right Candidate:

  • Oracle Fusion Expertise: A minimum of 5 years of Oracle experience, specifically in Oracle Fusion. Strong understanding of how Fusion differs from traditional Oracle ERP configurations.
  • Technical & Functional Skills: Proficiency in configuring supply chain and manufacturing modules, including Order Management (OM), Purchase Order (PO), Pricing, Transportation, BOM, WPI, MRP, Demand Planning, and Costing.
  • Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Cloud Experience: Hands-on expertise with Oracle Cloud, including configuration, triage, and problem/incident resolution.
  • Analytical & Collaborative: Demonstrated ability to analyze business requirements, prioritize tasks, and work cross-functionally to deliver enhancements and resolve issues.


Responsibilities of the Right Candidate:

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into Oracle Fusion SCM solutions.
  • Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly Supply Chain meetings to ensure smooth operations.
  • Manage and prioritize functional tickets, triaging and resolving incidents promptly.
  • Support the ongoing Oracle Fusion implementation project across multiple plants, managing workloads and driving success within a fast-paced environment.
  • Conduct impact analysis for new releases and ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Collaborate with product vendors and internal teams to maintain high service levels.
  • Identify and prioritize new enhancements, working with business users and functional analysts.
  • Track and manage Oracle Service Requests (SRs) for timely resolution and escalate as needed.
  • Ensure end-user satisfaction by delivering high-quality, user-focused solutions.
  • Transform business requirements into scalable Oracle Fusion solutions.
  • Monitor and address risks to meet service levels and project goals.
  • Contribute to the team’s overall success by bringing curiosity, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
