Job Title: Litigation Legal Assistant

Location: Seattle, Washington

Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in office/2 remote after 90-day training period); 36.25 hrs. per week

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Salary: $75,000-$90,000


Job Description:

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join the team of a respected and established law firm in Seattle, Washington. The ideal candidate will have experience with Washington state and federal litigation and demonstrate strong organizational skills. This role is perfect for a proactive professional who excels at juggling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support, including managing calendars, emails, and client interactions
  • Draft, edit, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and reports
  • Coordinate meetings, travel arrangements, and event logistics
  • Manage client billing, time entry, and monthly invoice preparation
  • Organize and maintain physical and electronic files, ensuring compliance with document management protocols
  • Conduct research using internal and external resources to support attorney needs
  • Assist with new client intake, conflict checks, and matter management
  • Serve as a resource for business development initiatives and special projects
  • Provide backup assistance to other administrative team members when required


Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a legal assistant or in a similar administrative role within a law firm.
  • Familiarity with Washington state and federal court rules and procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and legal software such as iManage, Adobe Acrobat, and billing platforms
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to interact effectively with clients, attorneys, and team members
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional business or legal training preferred
