LHH is seeking a skilled and experienced Litigation Legal Assistant in Jupiter, FL. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys, ensuring efficient operations while maintaining high standards of service and professionalism. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and the ability to manage a diverse workload.
Responsibilities:
- Compile, proofread, and edit drafts of contracts, leases, licenses, and other legal documents.
- Coordinate multi-document filings in Circuit, State, and Federal courts, including e-filing.
- Maintain paper and electronic files using the firm’s document management system in compliance with firm policies.
- Transcribe dictation, manage scheduling, time entry, and billing.
- Assist in drafting and formatting legal documents such as briefs, motions, complaints, pleadings, subpoenas, affidavits, and summonses.
- Support attorneys in all stages of litigation cases from initiation to post-trial.
- Assist with trial preparation: create trial notebooks, organize exhibits, coordinate witness schedules, and maintain trial calendars.
- Track firm, attorney, and client expenses; assist with reimbursement and payment processing.
- Participate in client billing by entering narratives, tracking billable tasks, and maintaining billing due dates.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence (mail, emails, phone calls).
- Provide consistent and high-quality client service.
Salary: $70,000-$75,000/yr.
