LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well regarded law firm in search of an IP Paralegal to join their firm! This opportunity provides a variety of work within the Intellectual Property practice. If you have prior patent experience within in a law firm setting, please apply today! Responsibilities:

• Handle international and domestic filings and communication with the USPTO
• Manage the docket, PCT filings, patent annuities
• Track payments and renewals, obtain certifications
• Prepare reports and inform clients on status of their case
• Conduct legal research and stay current on any policies and procedures regarding patent law
• Regularly correspond with clients and foreign counsel

Qualifications:

• Paralegal Certificate is preferred
• BA Degree is preferred
• Prior experience in a law firm supporting IP Attorneys
• Prior experience with U.S. and Foreign patent matters
• Prior experience with PATTSY, Microsoft Office Suite, Innovation, LexisNexis is preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• High attention to detail and team player
