Under the leadership of the Business Analysis and Projects Manager, this position will be responsible for analyzing and understanding business needs, defining scope, and facilitating the successful delivery of projects within the organization. MUST HAVE LAW FIRM EXPERIENCE. The Business Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, developers, and stakeholders, to ensure that goals and objectives are met. After an initial period of training, this position is eligible for a hybrid-remote work schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Collects, analyzes, and prepares business, functional, system, and quality requirements, use cases, specifications and business process diagrams textually and through visual modeling methods and tools to understand business objectives.
- Validates and manages project requirements.
- Collects information through advanced communication, questioning, and interviewing techniques.
- Collaborates with project managers to define project scope, objectives, and timelines.
- Assists in the development of project plans and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Acts as a liaison between business stakeholders and the project team, ensuring effective communication and understanding of requirements.
- Validates and manages project requirements.
Experience and Education Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in computer science, business, legal studies or related field.
- A minimum of three years of experience in business or system analysis or Paralegal with Technical Skills.
- Business Analysis certification.
- Working knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework to ensure efficient service delivery and improvements in alignment with the Firm's business and technology strategies.
- Law firm experience.
