Clemson Distribution, INC. is a wholesale food distributor with a satellite warehouse opening in Vista, CA. Family owned and operated for over 30 years, we specialize in serving our customers with quality products and unrivaled service.


Roll Description

This position is mainly responsible in providing overall administrative support primarily for Clemson’s New Vista location in terms of Inventory Management, Customer Service, and Miscellaneous Administrative Tasks.


Key Duties & Responsibilities

1. Inventory Management 

  • Processing of Items Received via BOL’s from Vendors via DSD Manager
  • Processing of Items Transferred from Clemson Industry via DSD Manager
  • Internal Communication of any Discrepancies and/ or Damages vs. Purchase Orders
  • Monitoring of Item Inventory in coordination with Product Group Managers
  • Tabulation & reconciliation of regular Inventory Physical Counts


2. Customer Service 

  • Processing of Customer Orders via DSD Manager (i.e., Loadout Confirmation)
  • Scheduling & coordination of delivery appointments as necessary
  • Handling of all Customer communications through email and phone call
  • Printing of Customer Invoices and assigning each per Driver based on Route
  • Collection and Transmittal of filled-up Driver Route Sheets every end of Day
  • Collection of all check and cash payments from Drivers every end of Day (Note: Transmittal will have to be coordinated with Clemson’s Accounting)


3. Miscellaneous Administrative Tasks

  • Maintenance of proper filing system for all Documents (i.e., P.O.’s/ Loadouts/ Invoices/ BOL’s/ Customer Price Quotes)
  • Documentation & updating of all relevant documents for Clemson Vista Location (i.e., HACCP 3rd Party Audit/ HACCP Binder/ Core Standard Operating Procedures Binder
  • Special Projects
  • Participation in Special Projects as assigned by Management


KEY QUALIFICATIONS

1. Proven experience in a similar role, preferably from a Logistics or Distribution Company

2. Knowledge of Office Administrative Procedures

3. Intermediate Proficiency in MS Excel / Word

4. Excellent Communication Skills preferably Bilingual (English/ Spanish)
