Solar Quality Assurance Technician | Allied Resources Technical Consultants
About the Position:
Allied Resources is looking for a Quality Assurance Technician for an exciting Full-time opportunity with a forward thinking and innovative Renewable Energy Company in the greater Queen Anne’s County area. Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Quality Site Manager to implement the site Quality Plan.
- Conduct civil, mechanical, and electrical inspections during all phases of construction to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Identify and document any discrepancies using Construction Management Software (CMS).
- Prepare daily inspection reports, document findings, and upload reports and photos to the CMS.
- Support project-level quality reporting by gathering and summarizing data.
- Assist team members with various quality-related tasks.
- Engage in continuous learning and development through on-the-job and classroom training.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of proven experience in quality assurance and/or construction.
- Proficiency in inspecting electrical, mechanical, or civil installations.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- A strong work ethic and a commitment to teamwork.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively with minimal supervision.
- Experience with Office 365 applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
- Experience using cloud-based construction management systems (e.g., Procore).
- Understanding of transmission-scale construction principles and practices.
- Familiarity with medium voltage fundamentals, utility systems, and overhead/pole equipment.
- Ability to interpret construction, electrical, structural, or civil drawings.
- Competence in understanding manufacturing equipment standards.
