Allied Resources is seeking multiple QA/QC Specialists to join teams in the utility industry. This role ensures compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements through thorough quality assurance and quality control measures. The ideal candidate will monitor construction and maintenance activities, conduct inspections, and collaborate with teams to identify and address quality issues, contributing to safe, reliable, and efficient utility operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of utility infrastructure projects to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and industry codes.
- Review and verify project documentation, including blueprints, materials certifications, and test reports, to validate accuracy and completeness.
- Develop and implement QA/QC plans, checklists, and procedures tailored to specific projects.
- Investigate and resolve quality-related issues by coordinating with contractors, engineers, and project managers.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, non-conformances, corrective actions, and project quality metrics, ensuring traceability and transparency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in QA/QC roles within the utility or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of utility codes, standards (e.g., ASME, NEC, IEEE), and QA/QC best practices.
