Senior Mechanical Engineer

Position: Full time

Location: Boston, MA

Metric Geo is working with one of the largest engineering firms in the world who's currently hiring for a Senior Mechanical Engineer. This position has excellent career progression opportunites. The role consists of overseeing mechanical design, contributing to strategic planning of the firm's direction & associated goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Senior design and technical oversight of mechanical design on a variety of project types/scales, with mechanical staff to support design and production
• Regular collaboration with current mechanical department head and office director
• Learning how to establish the mechanical direction of projects
• Leadership of staffing, hiring, employee reviews, goal-setting, training/development, and general group personnel-related concerns alongside other technical leaders

Qualifications:

• 5+ years’ relevant mechanical design experience
• Professional Engineering (PE) license is strongly preferred
• Bachelors’ degree in mechanical engineering
• Revit and AutoCAD
