  • Support the licensing and transition process by coordinating engineering involvement to ensure process control, including validation of new or recently revived products.
  • Oversee the creation of production build instructions, including tool and test fixture definitions, and manage configuration changes (e.g., build instructions, drawings).
  • Provide technical support to resolve issues in production, field returns, and supplier-related problems, including Material Review Board (MRB) analysis and disposition.
  • Serve as the engineering representative for the Change Control Board (CCB), ensuring proper authority is exercised for all changes.
  • Ensure adherence to company standards in design, development, production, and in-service support activities.
  • Assist with internal quality audits, corrective actions, and preventative measures.

Requirements for the Director of Engineering

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronic, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering (MS in Engineering and/or MBA preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of materials, critical external processes, NDT, and specifications for precision aerospace components and systems.
