Overview
As an Electrical Systems Engineer with our client, you will play a key role in scaling up Energy Systems equipment and processes. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing electrical hardware and system controls for all manufacturing equipment. As part of the Energy Systems R&D team, you will guide teams in the design, scaling, and planning of production systems, ensuring they are safe, cost-efficient, sustainable, and meet the required quality standards. The Electrical Systems Engineer will focus on electrical aspects, such as transformer selection, high current and medium/high voltage systems, instrumentation and controls, as well as optimizing the performance of electrical systems. To thrive in this position, the ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, self-driven, and collaborative.
Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering with some 3+ years of industrial experience
- Electrical systems experience, equipment integration and design, low and medium voltage systems, transformers, rectifiers, and utility-scale experience.
- Work experience with engineering firms, EPC firms, utilities (power companies), or equipment development (Eaton, Westinghouse, etc.)
Compensation
- Salary of 100-120k + 8% bonus
