Position Summary:

ScaleWRX is seeking an entry-level Production Associate to join our team in building high-quality containment doors and panels for data centers at our Reno, NV facility. This role requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and a positive attitude. You will play a key part in ensuring our products meet strict quality standards by following assembly instructions, utilizing various tools, and maintaining an organized work environment. This position reports to the Plant Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Fabrication and Assembly

• Assemble containment doors and panels following detailed blueprints, drawings, and assembly instructions.
• Operate a range of hand tools and machinery, including power saws, drills, mallets, and other basic equipment, to build and finish components accurately.

Quality Control

• Inspect parts for fit and quality during assembly, ensuring each unit meets our high standards.
• Check finished goods for proper labeling and packaging before preparing for shipment.

Material Handling

• Lift, move, and position materials weighing up to 50 lbs. throughout the day, ensuring materials are ready and accessible for production.

Safety and Organization

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Identify any issues with materials or machinery, reporting them promptly to a supervisor to prevent downtime.

Team Collaboration

• Support fellow team members, working collaboratively to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Be open to cross-training in various production areas, including packaging, assembly, and inventory.

Additional Responsibilities

• Follow production schedules and notify supervisors of any issues affecting workflow.
• Contribute to a positive team culture by maintaining a professional and respectful attitude.
• Perform overtime work as needed to meet production demands.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

• Exposure to loud noises, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibrations in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shifts, including weekends if needed.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and slide packages typically weighing up to 50lbs.
• Repetitive lifting, bending, and twisting.
• Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects or controls.
• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, reaching, lifting, climbing, and other active movements.
• Ability to work all shifts, prolonged periods on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent movements.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED; no prior industry experience required.
• Ability to read and follow instructions in English, including precise measurements and assembly instructions.
• Comfortable using basic hand tools and power equipment.
• Willingness to cross-train in multiple production areas.
• Strong teamwork skills and a “can-do” attitude toward various production tasks.
