Action Group is assisting a Claremore manufacturing client in their search for a Mechanical Engineer .

Ideal candidates will have a BS in Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years’ experience in a design, development, and quality role with a metal manufacturing company.

Pay: $85k - $100k+ per year base salary

Requirements of the Mechanical Engineer:

• BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years’ experience with design concepts and product development
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• CAD programs including SolidWorks, AutoCAD
• Mechanical design, product development and prototyping

Responsibilities of the Mechanical Engineer:

• Lead new product initiatives including concept, design and development
• Optimize production processes, improve materials and minimize costs
• Build and test prototypes to validate design concepts
• Evaluate concepts for scalability and cost
• Participate in ongoing design reviews
• Implement quality processes including Statistical Process Controls
• Lead root cause analysis
