Electrical Estimator
Position Overview
The Electrical Estimator will play a critical role in preparing accurate and detailed estimates for electrical projects in commercial and industrial sectors. The ideal candidate will analyze project specifications and blueprints to provide precise cost evaluations, ensuring project budgets are adhered to and profitability is maximized.
Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and related documents to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
• Prepare detailed take-offs for materials and labor, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimates.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project conditions and gather additional data for accurate estimating.
• Maintain a database of historical cost data to inform future estimates and improve accuracy.
• Provide support in bid submissions and presentations, including detailed explanations of estimates to stakeholders.
• Stay current with industry trends, materials, and labor costs to ensure competitive and accurate estimates.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as an electrical estimator in commercial and industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and standards.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teams and clients.
