Senior Accountant (40454)

Our client is an organization in the Racine County area looking for a Senior Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with 3+ years of experience, organized, and detail oriented. This company offers flexibility, a great work/life balance, and a hard-working team. This position is hybrid.

The salary for this position is $95k.

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process bi-weekly payroll and compile data such as garnishments, insurance and 401(k) deductions.
• Develop and analyze budgets, preparing reports that compare budgeted to actual costs.
• Analyze financial information and prepare reports to determine or maintain records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, etc.
• Prepares weekly/monthly cash management reports.
• Completes tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, or other tax requirements.
• Perform other duties as needed.

The Senior Accountant will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience required.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive & confidential information.
• Knowledge of various taxes; Payroll, Sales and Use, Corporate Income Tax, etc.
