Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Family Law Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of family law matters, including divorce, custody, and support cases. The Family Law Attorney will provide expert legal counsel to clients, ensuring their rights are protected and guiding them through complex legal processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in family law cases, including divorce, child custody, and support matters
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on family law issues
- Draft and file legal documents, including petitions, motions, and agreements
- Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
- Attend court hearings and represent clients during litigation
- Conduct legal research to support case strategies
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of family law statutes and regulations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing support and guidance throughout their legal journey
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in the relevant state
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in family law
- Strong understanding of family law principles and procedures
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize effectively
- Empathetic and client-focused approach to legal practice
