We’re Hiring: User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Lead

Location - Minneapolis MN 55402 / Chicago, IL 60603

HYBRID ROLE: 3 days in the office , 2 days remote

Duration: 12+ Months Contract with possible extension

Pay Range: $70/hr to $78/hr

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of UAT experience with a proven track record of delivery.
• 5+ years of experience working on internal banking products.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Experience in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban) with familiarity in Waterfall for regulated industries.

About the Role:

As a UAT Lead, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to define and execute tailored testing strategies for the Communication Hub platform — an enterprise system delivering over 2 billion digital messages annually. This project is pivotal in ensuring compliance with new U.S. SMS regulatory requirements.

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies, including positive and negative testing.
• Lead the creation of test artifacts such as test strategy, test plans, and closure documents.
• Coordinate and manage test planning, execution, and defect triage meetings.
• Ensure proper test coverage by planning and developing test cases.
• Collaborate with Project, Business, Product, and Technology teams to tailor testing approaches for complex platforms.
• Maintain governance standards and document risks while providing timely issue escalation.
• Produce test execution, defect status, and other reports.
• Adhere to risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience coordinating with Product, Technology, QA, DevOps, and Business Lines.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, with proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, and Jira Test Framework.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively between technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience with banking technology testing is highly preferred.
