About the Role
My client is looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of their IT infrastructure. This hybrid role blends on-site and remote work to support operations and growing technology needs. The Systems Administrator will manage hardware, software, and network systems, collaborate with global teams, and ensure seamless IT support for employees and systems.

Key Responsibilities
1. Systems Management:
o Administer and maintain servers, storage systems, and enterprise applications.
o Perform system updates, patches, and configurations to ensure optimal performance and security.
o Monitor and troubleshoot issues with system performance, availability, and integrity.
2. User Support:
o Provide technical support for employees, resolving system-related issues efficiently.
o Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in systems like Active Directory and other IAM tools.
3. Network Administration:
o Oversee the configuration and maintenance of LAN/WAN, firewalls, and VPN connections.
o Ensure robust network security, monitoring, and optimization.
4. Backup and Disaster Recovery:
o Implement and manage backup and recovery solutions for critical systems and data.
o Develop and test disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
5. IT Security and Compliance:
o Enforce and enhance IT security policies and protocols.
o Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
6. Collaboration and Project Management:
o Collaborate with internal IT teams to support deployments, upgrades, and migrations.
o Participate in IT infrastructure projects, providing insights and technical expertise.

Skills and Experience
• 5+ years as a Systems Administrator in hybrid or enterprise environments.
• Proven expertise in managing Windows, Linux, or macOS systems.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VPNs).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
